Volunteers are welcomed, encouraged and needed at the high school. Please support our staff by spending some time at DCHS. Your efforts will set a good example for our students and help them maintain responsible behaviors. Contact Sandi Gosnell at 751-5905 ext. 332 to make a commitment to DCHS and complete any necessary paperwork before you get started.

• Committee Members – serve as the parent advisor on one of the following committees: Drug Testing Initiative or the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative
• Department Volunteer – become the regular or contact as needed volunteer to a department chairperson. Help with about anything needed by the department’s teachers like change a bulletin board, cut, staple, organize, file, scan, etc.
• Media Center Volunteers – read and order shelves, dust video cases, help process new and discarded books – any agreed upon schedule with the Media Center Staff.
• Office Volunteers – relieve the office staff of the phones and front desk to allow them some uninterrupted time to complete other tasks. Regular schedule or drop in when available.
